Mike Maggard, Senior Pastor
Pastor Mike has served as the senior pastor of Grace since July 2003. He has formerly pastored Evangelical Free churches in Florida .
A graduate of Wheaton College (BA, Political Science), the Naval Postgraduate School (MA, National Security), and Columbia International University (M.Div, Pastoral Leadership), Mike retired from a career as an intelligence officer in the US Army before sensing God's call to vocational ministry.
Mike and his wife Kathi have three grown children...and six grandchildren (with number seven on his way in October 2009). They enjoy jogging, skiing, reading, movies and attending varied and unusual cultural events.
Darin Anderson, Associate Pastor
Darin and Kristin moved here with their three boys (then 9, 7 and 5) in July of 2009, and their fourth son on his way in late October of that year. The couple met at Taylor University in Upland, Indiana in the late '90s and have served together in EFCA churches in Glenview, IL and Charlotte, NC doing youth and family ministry. Darin received his M. Div. from Trinity Evangelical Divinity School in Deerfield, IL - which was part of their preparation for pastoral leadership and where their desire to be a part of a church planting movement in our country was born.
Darin and Kristin love playing with their boys (lots of Legos, soccer and bike-riding), reading novels together, watching movies and spending time with family. (On that note, Kristin happens to be Mike's oldest daughter.)
