Purpose
Grace takes seriously the demand of Jesus Christ to, " go and make disciples of all nations " (Matthew 28:18-20). As such, our Missions Commission exists to mobilize Grace Evangelical Free Church to fulfill the great commission by identifying, encouraging, and supporting cross-cultural missions. We define cross-cultural missions as crossing cultural barriers to bring the good news of salvation to lost people. However, this cross-cultural definition is not limited to overseas.
Goal
The goal of the Missions Commission's is worship. Missions exists because the worship of Jesus Christ does not. Jesus Christ tells us that God seeks "true worshippers" of Him (John 4:23).
In addition to supporting several missionaries, members of Grace also participate in short term mission trips.
