A changed life isn't simply an obligation that arises when we receive the free gift of the gospel. A changed life is a part of the gift of the gospel. The finished work of Christ delivers us from the consequences of sin, and from sin itself. When we are joined to Christ by faith, we have the privilege of daily experiencing the power of his resurrection as we become more like him.
